Many cultivation regions in Germany are characterized by a high-yield topsoil, but partly with poorly permeable soil layers. To improve the crop and allow a more economical way of working, it is often necessary to take suitable measures against moisture penetration and waterlogging. A drainage system with EURODRAIN pipes consisting of “laterals and collectors” laid in a coordinated scheme collects the precipitation water and leads it to the gravitational flow into the next receiving body of water. To meet the requirements of the local soil conditions, EURODRAIN drainage pipes are available with different filter wrappings.
