Flexible PE pipe for ventilation engineering in buildings
Application
HEKATHERM-LT pipes are used for air distribution and have been particularly designed for ventilation systems inside buildings. They are suitable for installation in insulating layers, concrete layers of ceilings or floor finish layers of adequate thickness as well as in hanging casings.
It is imperative that the pipe line is professionally secured against movement during construction work. Adequate load-bearing capacity of the remaining cover has to be ensured.
- Flexible pipe line for ventilation systems inside buildings
- PE twin wall pipe, outside corrugated and inside smooth (reinforced corrugated outer wall)
- Polyethylene PE, virgin material of 1a quality, free of recycling material
(no regenerated material, no own recycled material - Small bending radii
- Ring stiffness S ≥ 8.0 kN/m² to DIN EN ISO 9969 (SN 8)
- PE is classified as harmless substance with regard to health
- Classified as toxicologically safe in accordance with directive 1999/45/EG
- hyg approval (Independent German institute for environmental toxicology)
- Admissible temperature range, without mechanical load:
Short-term: from -25 °C to +90 °C
Permanently: from -25 °C to +60 °C - Flexible product in coils of 50 m
- The pipe ends are closed by caps for protection against pollution
- Quality monitoring in accordance with QM
- Blue: Colouring is effected by masterbatches on PE basis
- Natural-coloured inner skin without addition of colour masterbatch
- Different colours on request
