Application

HEATTHERM pipes were specially developed as jacket pipes for the protection of fluid-carrying pipes and insulating material in long- and short-distance heat pipelines. The chosen pipe design makes these pipes extremely flexible. Thanks to their reinforced outer wall they are adequately robust to meet the requirements for rough handling at site. Embedding in accordance with EN 1610 provided, the pipes are perfectly suited for use in installation depths between 0.8m to 6.0m and under SLW 60 classified traffic loads.

HEATTHERM jacket pipes are available in two designs:

  • HEATTHERM-SWP in corrugated design (single wall pipe):
    corrugated pipe, outside and inside corrugated, with reinforced outer wall
  • HEATTHERM-DWP in twin wall design (double wall pipe):
    twin wall pipe, outside corrugated, inside smooth, with reinforced outer wall

  • High ring stiffness S to DIN EN 9969
  • Exclusively polyethylene virgin material, PE in 1a quality
  • Excellent impact properties
  • Toxicologically safe according to 1999/45/EG
  • UV long-time stabilisation for outdoor storage up to 24 months
  • Small bending radii, depending on nominal diameter

  • At -25 °C to + 60 °C permanently temperature-resistant
  • Rupture-proof
  • Suitable for winter construction
  • Quality control according to QM manual

  • Corrugated outer pipe with SWP and DWP: black
  • Smooth inner pipe with DWP: natural-couloured
